This is my avatar that I created but I am having trouble opening the program. It is saying something about the graphics failing and my video drivers not being up to date.
But from what I have seen from what my classmates have said about using second life in the classroom it can be used as a virtual classroom. When I discussed this idea with the ELA teacher that I am working with she thought it would be cool to have both of our classes log on at the same time in order to interact with each other. We can use it for cross curricular intstruction. All we would need to do is get enough computers for each class and see if we would be able to use this program in the school.
Do you have an older computer? Sometimes you might not have all of the necessary hardware and software installed. :(

SL usually takes up lots of processing power and capacity, your computer may not have enough capacity for running the program. But this is such a lovely avatar!
